Japanese E-cigarette Shops Suspected Of Illegally Selling Cannabis Ingredients, Tobacco Oil, And 141 Products Have Been Seized

On July 25, 2023, according to a report by Yomiuri Shimbun in Japan, the Anesthesia Suppression Department of the Kanto Shinwak Health Bureau of the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare (referred to as Matsu) announced that the shops of the Japanese e-cigarette seller Good Chill Group were suspected of illegally selling marijuana containing tobacco oil called "Grass Magic Man". Matsu has inspected a total of 141 suspected illegal products in 20 shops in 9 prefectures.
From May 20th to 21st, law enforcement officers conducted searches on 28 stores of the group in 15 prefectures and prefectures, and seized electronic cigarette oil called "Grass Demon Man" in 20 stores in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, Ibaraki, Aomori, Osaka, Hiroshima, and Kochi.
The product is priced at approximately 16000 yen (approximately 0.3g per bottle) and the identification results show that it contains illegal cannabis ingredients.
